Amus College Soccer Academy
Our soccer academy comprises of Amus College students and staff. We participate in soccer related events in order to promote the sport throughout the college, Mbale city and the country at large.Our members strive for excellence in performance, synergy and education. We compete in the nation-wide inter-school tournaments. Our students participate in community service events in fundraising opportunities and in supporting other Amus sports clubs.
Accomplishments
- 2014-2015: Champcionships won: District champions, Bukedea district
- 2016 Regional champions, Teso region
- 2016 (Held at Midland high school, Kaberamaido district) District champions, Bukedea district
- 2015 Regional Runners up, Teso region,
- 2015 (held Ranked number one (best) in the region Qualified for national schools championships
- 2016, Copa cocacola games held at Teso college Aloet, Soroti district
- 2015 Copa cocacola games held at Duhaga high school, Hoima district
- Other Achievements: Built friendship with both local and international schools and clubs.
- Had exchange visits and played friendly matches with Kakamega school, Homeboys FC, Western steamerz FC both from Kenya Promotion and development of talent through education by award of bursaries to the students in the communit
